Welcome to my personal homepage! I am Sayandeep, a first-year Ph.D. student in Mathematics at
Louisiana State University. My academic journey commenced at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira,
where I pursued my undergraduate studies. Subsequently, I completed a master’s degree in Mathematics
at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
Interests:
I am generally interested in any type of mathematical analysis that arises from physical phenomena.
Currently, my work focuses on Kinetic Theory and the partial differential equations (PDEs) associated
with it, under the supervision of Prof. Andrei Tarfulea.
During my master's studies at IIT Kanpur,
I completed two dissertations: one on the Schauder estimate of elliptic PDEs, supervised by
Prof. Adi Adimurthi, and another on the numerical solution of inverse scattering problems of
acoustic waves, supervised by Prof. Akash Anand.
