Welcome to my personal homepage! I am Sayandeep, a first-year Ph.D. student in Mathematics at
Louisiana State University. My academic journey commenced at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira,
where I pursued my undergraduate studies. Subsequently, I completed a master’s degree in Mathematics
at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
Interests:
Generally, any type of mathematical analysis, coming out of some physical phenomenon interests me.
Currently, I am working on the Kinetic theory and the PDEs coming out of it under the supervision of
Prof. Andrei Tarfulea .
Back in IIT Kanpur, I also had an exposure to work in the inverse scattering problem for electromagnetic waves under the supervision of
Prof. Akash Anand.
